Have you found a name in an old bible, an old mining certificate, or some other source of genealogical or historical value?

Don't know where to start? We are happy to help. We begin the research for a minimum two hour fee - twenty ($20) dollars. All information discovered will then be sent to you. It is your call how deep you want us to dig! The research can be as cursory or as in depth as you request.

Want to do it yourself? Contact us, and we will tell you where to start and what resources are available in White Pine County at no cost.

Research includes, but not limited to:

  • Newspaper articles
  • Obituaries
  • Census Records
  • Cemetery Records
  • Photo's of grave sites
  • Courthouse research including, but not limited to,
  • Grantor/Grantee
  • Probate
  • Wills
  • Land records
  • Mining Claims

    NOTE:
    Copies of birth and death records after July, 1911 must be obtained from: Nevada Division of Health/vital Statistics

    Fees

  • Ten dollars per hour research time
  • Minimum deposit Twenty dollars - two hours research

  • Postage
  • Newspaper microfilm copies - 50 cents each
  • Courthouse records - one dollar($1.00)each
  • Photographs of grave sites (if available)five dollars ($5.00)each
  • 32 cents per mile to take pictures of old grave sites
  • No mileage charge in Ely city limits

    • White Pine County Public Library
    White Pine County Public Library is located in the Courthouse Complex parklike setting. There is an extensive newspaper microfilm library located here. The great resources, combined with a friendly staff, make this a great place to research - or - just read!
